Mary Redditt, 97, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Fairhope, Alabama. She was born July 20, 1924 in Scouba, Mississippi to W.H. and Bertha Stuart. She loved dancing and sewing. She had a B.S. from Auburn University and was a business owner and entrepreneur including a pharmacy, hotel, and Dairy Queen. Mary had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Irby Dean Redditt; her late husband, Hector Coral; and her son, Irby Dean Redditt Jr.
Left to cherish Mary’s beautiful memories will be her grandchildren, Marley Redditt, Emma Redditt, Ashton Redditt, Ben Redditt, and Margaret Sisk; many cousins in Mississippi and Alabama including Wilsey Kelly (Bettye); and Tim Sisk (Lori) whom she loved as a son.
A graveside service will be held for Mary on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11AM at McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery in Leakesville, Mississippi located behind Moments Funeral Home 1601 Lackey Street
Leakesville, MS 39451.
The family would like to thank Covenant Care and Visiting Angels for their care and support. They would also like to extend a special thanks to Tara Padgett (Durgin), Lula Durgin, and April Henry for their constant love, care, and support.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.
