Mary Elizabeth Templeton

Mary Elizabeth Dampeer Templeton passed away peacefully on May 26. A longtime resident of Pascagoula and Gautier, she was born in Pikeville, KY, then moved to the family farm in New Hebron, MS. While attending MSCW, she met D’Arcy who was a student at MSU. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward and Mary June Hays Dampeer, and her husband, D’Arcy M. Templeton. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Weaver (Robert P.) and son, Jason Templeton (Cindy). “Duppie” will be sorely missed by her grandchildren, Zachary R. Weaver (Elizabeth), Nicholas R. Weaver, Stephanie Gatlin (Don), Kristen Young (Douglas), and Matthew Templeton, and great-grandsons, Zachary Robert Weaver and Greyson Shelby Gatlin.

Visitation for Mrs. Templeton will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., with a graveside service immediately following in Pine Crest Cemetery.
