Mary Olive Wood

Mrs. Wood graduated from Wright School for Girls, St. Mary's College and University of South Alabama. She retired after many years as a teacher and lastly as principal of Causey Middle School. She loved tennis, water aerobics, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband, James C. Wood and daughter Lucy Wood Foley (Chris) and Tom Wood (Eileen Corkern-Wood). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lyle and Cooke Foley and brother, John F. Lyle, Jr. (Joyce).

Visitation will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish Hall from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
