He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Earl Huff, Sr. and Florentine R. Huff.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Bell Huff; son, Maurice Earl Huff, III (Jessica); granddaughter, Maddy; his “Sissy” Melinda McRae (Mitch) and sister Russelline Riendeau (Robert); and many more wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bubba was a devoted husband and father, the joy of his life was spending time with his family, hunting with his son Trae, and watching Alabama football with his Cindy Bell.
He was a mentor to many hunters and anglers in Alabama and the Southeast, sharing his vast knowledge of the outdoors without reservation. His expertise was also valued by hunting and fishing industry, which used Bubba’s larger-than-life personality to conduct seminars and host product showcases, and host the Outdoor Traditions TV Show. He was employed at Quints Sporting Goods for many years.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway at 11:00 a.m.
