Michael Patrick Vickers

Michael, age 62 passed on to eternal life on November 13, 2023, at his home in Spring Hill, AL. Michael was born on August 27, 1961 in Tuscaloosa, AL and was raised in Mobile AL. Michael was known for his sharp, self-deprecating wit, his love of Alabama football and his hunting prowess. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Ninky and Monnie Vickers. Michael is survived by his sisters, Sheila Vickers Slaton, her husband Edward and their children Will and Monnie, Erin Vickers Goodloe, her husband John and their children Russell and Mason. Michael is also survived by his heart-broken Courtney cousins, and a host of Yankee cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held in Michael’s honor at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Mobile AL on Wednesday, November 15 at 1 pm. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends in the St. Ignatius Parish Hall at 12 pm. Honorary pallbearers will be the University of Alabama DKE pledge class of 1979-1980.
