Mickey Charles Welch

Mr. Mickey Charles Welch – “Uncle Mickey”, age 70, a native of Meridian, MS and a resident of Belle Fountaine, AL, passed away after a brief illness on March 19, 2011 at a local hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mickey was well known in the Cooling Tower industry, the last 11 years with GEA Power Cooling, Inc. He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 49 years, Mary Speed Welch; brother, Virgil A. Beasley, III (Lucia); sister-in-law, Idell McGuirt (Charlie); two nephews, Virgil A. Beasley, IV (Cathi) and Ted Beasley (Angela); four nieces, Annette Keller, Sheri Long (Billy), Angel Gross, and Jennifer Webb (Josh); eight great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-nephew; an honorary daughter, Shelly Winters (Mike); and his Cooling Tower Family. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow immediately in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your favorite charity.
