She was a Charter member of Snow Road Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a Food Service Manager with the Mobile County School System.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. "Bill" Kimbrell and parents, Oscar and Grace Gibson. She is survived by her children, Karen Lenn (Donnie) Smith and Greg (Tammy) Kimbrell; brother, William Fate (Ann) Gibson; sisters-in-law, Glenda Kimbrell and Virgie Kimbrell; brothers-in-law, John Lewis (Carolyn) Kimbrell, Floyd (Carolyn) Kimbrell, Dick (Eunice) Kimbrell, Paul (Mary) Earnest; three grandchildren, Amanda (Ricky) Kelly, Steven Smith and Cody Thompson; three great grandchildren, Jackson Glenn Kelly, Madison Kelly and Easton Cole Talbot.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM from Snow Road Missionary Baptist Church. Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in Carnes Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
