

It is with much sadness that the daughters of Mildred Imogene Williams Nash announce her passing on Friday, July 26, 2013.
A native of Gulf Crest, Alabama and a resident of Mobile for the past 70 years, “Millie” was preceded in death by her parents Louis Monroe and Ruby Leigh Davis Williams; husband Joseph Mack Nash; her only grandchild James David “Jamie” Tyson, Jr.; and great niece Kerry Marie Watson; brothers Clifford and M.Carl (Doris) Williams, sister Doris W. (Mitt) Smith and infant sister Lorraine Williams.
She is survived by daughters Cheryl Ann (Britt) Meacham and Allison Maxine (Dave) Tyson. Also survived by nieces Jean S. Poythress-Mack, Peggy S. (Isaac) Watson, Melanie W. McLaughlin and Rickey Williams. Great nieces and nephews Kimberly P. Burns, Kelly W. (Andrew) Kettler, Greg Poythress, Kevin (JoeAnn) Watson and John (Candice) McLaughlin. Special great-great nieces Kendall Burns and Payten Watson-Kettler; her #1 son, John “Terry” (Lola) Terranova; two remaining best friends, Patty Gibson and Voncile Lott Robinson, maid of honor at her 1945 wedding.
She retired from both Brookley AFB in Base Accounting and Sears Administrative office. She was 89 years old and of the Methodist Faith.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 5:30 pm. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the service hour. Private graveside services and interment will be on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 10:00 am.
