Milton Maisel

Mr. Milton Maisel age 90 , native of Mobile, AL, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Annie Friedlander Maisel, daughter Ida M. Pierce, brother Alvin Maisel and sister Edith Laden. Mr. Maisel was employed with Prudential Insurance Company as an agent for over 25 years. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during WWII and was presented with the Purple Heart. He was very active with Veterans organizations especially with Disabled American Veterans. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Maisel is survived by his wife of 63 years Sylvia Rubin Maisel, sons Gary Maisel (Marlena), Nathan Maisel, grandchildren Walter Maisel, Jeremy Maisel, Jessica M. Samet (Josh), Marla Pierce and great-grandchildren Laine, Olivia and Owen. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Ahavas Chesed Cemetery, Owen Street, Mobile, AL at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be offered to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.
