Nancy Carol Peterson

Nancy Richardson Peterson passed away at her home on Saturday, January 14, 2012, with her husband, children and other loved ones by her side. Nancy was born on December 20, 1931 and lived in Whistler until moving to Bay Minette ten years ago. She married John M. Peterson (Jack) on March 25, 1953 and they were blessed with three children, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, John Russell Peterson; her parents Harold and Fae Richardson; siblings, Eileen Phillips and Harold Richardson, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, a devoted husband, John M. Peterson; daughter, Pamela Headley (Richard); son, Alan (Hank) Peterson; three sisters, Juanita Mayr (Arthur), Betty Peterson (Peter), and Joyce Patrick. She was an adored “Nanny” to grandchildren, Michelle Moses, Gus Bolan, Shannon and Jeremy Lolley along with five great-grandchildren, Jace & Jack Bolan and Makayla, Emily & Caitlyn Lolley. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
