Palma “Pat” Shepard Durden, age 101, a longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama died on Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Durden and son, Larry Durden. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dale) Swope; daughter in law, Myrla Durden; sister, Mandy Woodham; five grandchildren, Lisa (Mack) Huckaby, Gena (Laurent) Claudel, Steve (Laura) Durden, Mark (Jill) Durden, William Rye; ten great grandchildren and many special friends whom showed great love and support. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Mercy Medical and Gordon Oaks for their wonderful care and compassion.
