Patricia Ann Russell

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Virgil George Russell; brother, C. William McBroom (Harriet); three sons, Stephen V. Russell (Janet), Philip G. Russell (Cissy), and Charles D. Russell; grandchildren, Emily A. Beaird (Brandon), Amy R. Bedsole (John), Benjamin S. Russell (Millie), Laura M. Russell, and Natalie P. Russell; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Bedsole, James Beaird Jr., Joseph Bedsole, Elaina Beaird, Palmer Russell, and Lott Russell.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Hewins McBroom and Grace Malvina McBroom; and her brother, John A. McBroom (Birdie).

Patricia was a homemaker, a loving and devoted mother and affectionately known as “Meme” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked many years at Nan Gray Davis school. Those who knew her will remember Patricia for her sweet and caring disposition, as well as her kindness to everyone. She was a long-time active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. according to social distancing guidelines, followed by a graveside service for immediate family members on Tuesday, May 12 at 11 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Pkwy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2921 Airport Blvd, Mobile, AL 36606.
