Paula Ann (Briggs) Evans - A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Wilmer, AL passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015. Paula’s career included working as a Home Health/Hospice nurse with Mercy Medical. Paula loved both her immediate family and extended family immeasurably and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marilyn Briggs. She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Stephanie) Neal, and Gabe (Sonya) Neal; three brothers, Rusty Briggs, Mitch (Lucinda) Briggs, and Todd Briggs; six grandchildren, Justin (Tiffany) Neal, Jeffrey Neal, Christian (Megan) Neal, Kacie Neal, Whitney Neal, and Kynley Neal; three great-grandchildren, Lexi, Caden, and Aubrey Neal. She is also survived by David Evans, and his children, Ricky (Ranie), Mike (Dorothy), Dennis, Tonya, Rhonda (Gary), Traci (Leigh), seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 12, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Wilmer. The family will receive friends at the church at 10 a.m. prior to services.
