Mr. Plumer “P.F.” Cooper – a native of Silas, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Sunday, December 18, 2011 in a Foley Nursing Home. Mr. Cooper was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He retired from McKenzie Truck Lines and was the owner of Cooper’s Used Cars for many years. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janice Cooper; two daughters, Crystal (Randall) Holmes and Lori (Parish) Plantin; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Cooper’s family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Golden Living Nursing Home and Community Hospice of Baldwin County for their loving care. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in Cooper’s Chapel Cemetery, Silas, AL.
