
Raymond Otis Pugh - 84, native of Coffeeville, AL, and recent resident of Mobile, died January 25, 2011. He was a diligent employee at Vanity Fair—Jackson, AL for 40 years. After moving to Mobile, Raymond continued to serve others, receiving the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Award for his many hours of community service. He had a constant desire to give and help others. To his family and friends, “He’s An Angel Gone, But Not Forgotten.” He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Mary Pugh; brother, Albert Gray Pugh; and sister, Louise Johnson. Survivors include sisters, Nonie Bumpers of Mobile and Marguerite (Stanley) Garison of Doyline, LA; brother, Glover (Jimmie) Pugh, Helena, AL; nieces, nephews, and many friends. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, January 28, 2011, from 9-10 a.m. A second visitation will follow at Ulcanush Baptist Church in Coffeeville, AL at 1 p.m. followed by the 2 p.m. funeral service.
