Rhett Chandler Tunstall was born in Mobile, AL, March 10, 1972. Rhett was a lifelong member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church. After graduating from St. Luke’s Episcopal School and Murphy High School, Rhett received a degree in business administration from the University of Alabama.
Rhett is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marvin “Gene” Pierce and Mary Clyde Spurlock Pierce; paternal grandfather, Tom Peyton Tunstall; parents, Edmund Clyde Tunstall and Janice Pierce Tunstall. Rhett is survived by his three beautiful daughters, Grace Elizabeth Tunstall, Emma Claire Tunstall and Amelia Pierce Tunstall; brothers, David Anthony Tunstall (Angela) and Stephen Mitchell Tunstall, Sr. (Christina); aunts, Barbara Pierce Clark and Brenda J. Pierce, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation for Rhett will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at Pine Crest Funeral Home from 10 to 11 with a service beginning at 11 from the Chapel. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.
