Rickey James Connell – a 56 year-old resident of Mobile passed away at his home on Sunday, May 9, 2010. A master plumber by trade, Mr. Connell was most recently employed with Home Depot for the past two years. He was a longtime little league baseball and football coach and enjoyed bowling and golf. Mr. Connell is survived by three sons, Brad Connell (Jennifer) of Richmond, VA, Jason Connell and Matthew Connell of Mobile; brothers, Ronnie Connell (Diane) of Mobile and David Connell (Barbara) of Daphne; two grandchildren, Seth Connell and Dylan Connell; companion, Lainey Honeycutt of Mobile; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 11, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
