Mr. Robert P. “Sonny” Colquett – a former business owner (general contractor) died in a local hospital on Thursday, March 1, 2012. Sonny was a native of Andalusia, AL and a resident of Mobile, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Colquett; and his parents, C. E. and Pauline Colquett. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Shirley Colquett; his five children, Andrew Colquett, Pensacola, FL, Nicole (Steven) Melendez, Orlando, FL, Kristine (Shaun) Calcara, Gaithersburg, MD, Zachary Valencia and Chelsea Valencia, Mobile, AL; one sister, Carolyn Chadwick, Gatlinburg, TN; one nephew, Chad Chadwick, Nashville, TN; and many other friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, March 5, 2012 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
