Rev. Robert Louis Flowers Sr.

age 81 life long resident of Mobile/Theodore passed away at Providence Hospital on Wednesday July 17, 2013.

Rev. Flowers was the founder and pastor of Theodore Heights Baptist Church founded in Theodore Al September 26, 1969. Rev. Flowers relinquished his duties as Pastor of 32 years in 2000, remained as a Deacon. Rev. Flowers also was a long standing member of Local 119, Plumbers and Steamfitters Local of Mobile. He was preceeded in death by his parents Floyd T. Flowers Sr and Anne Delle Flowers both residents of

Mobile Al and eldest son Sgt. Robert Louis Flowers Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Anniece G. Flowers of Mt. Ida, Arkansas and 3 Sons Warren L.

Flowers of Port Arthur TX, Larry A. Flowers(Tammie N.Flowers) of Denham Springs LA and Capt. Stephen

L. Flowers(Susan H.Flowers) of Mobile AL.

Also surviving are 12 Grand Children and 13 Great Grand children. One Sister Yvonne Werneth, One Sister in Law Joann Flowers and many Nephews and Nieces. Visitation will be held at Lighthouse Bapt Church on Friday July 19th at 6905 Nan Gray Davis RD, Theodore, AL 36582, from 5 until 8 PM

Funeral Services will be held at Lighthouse Bapt Church on Saturday July 20th, 2013 at 2 PM

Graveside service will be held following the Funeral at Valhalla Memorial Gardens, at 8730 Sims Rd., Eight Mile, Al 36613.
