

Robert Bernard Molyneux, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Friday, August 18, 2017, at the family residence with his mother at his side. Robert brought great joy to his family and was a unifying force with his three sisters and six brothers. He was touched and blessed by Saint John Paul II in Rome, Italy in 1991. Robert was the special angel of the Molyneux family and was “Mama’s Baby.” He loved to watch videos including his favorites, Black Stallion, Three Stooges, and Home Alone. His hobbies included playing the keyboard and harmonica, collecting baseball caps, batteries, and photos. He especially loved flying to Rome, his mother’s homeland. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Marc Molyneux, Jr. He is survived by his loving mother, Elisabetta “Betta”; nine siblings, Marc Thomas (Brenda) Molyneux, Joseph Iafet (Cynthia) Molyneux, Catherine Ann Molyneux, Michael Gregory (Lea) Molyneux, Mary Terese (Charlie), Mary Frances (Maynard) Sanders, John Anthony (Regina) Molyneux, James Philip (lisa) Molyneux, and Richard Vincent (Amy) Molyneux; 28 nieces and nephews in the USA; three aunts, Zia Margarita, Zia Laura, and Zia Anna; and sixteen first cousins in Rome, Italy. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
