Mr. Roger W. Turney, age 81, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015. He was a native of Texas and has resided in Mobile for forty five years. He was a devoted and loving husband and father and was loved by everyone he knew. Mr. Turney retired from Teledyne Continental Motors after thirty-five years of service. Mr. Turney is preceded in death by his son, Michael Turney. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patsy Turney, children, Christina Turney and Sheryl Turney. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Martin Lester for his devoted and loving care over the years. They also would like to thank the staff and aides at Lynwood Nursing Home for their support and care. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Oakleigh Chapel at Radney Funeral Home on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
