Mrs. Ruby V. Brown, a native of Dothan, Alabama and a longtime resident of Mobile County, died on her 92nd birthday on February 11, 2013. She was retired from the Prichard Housing Authority after many years of service.
Mrs. Brown is survived by two daughters, Linda B. (Paul N.) Fillingim and Beverly B (John) Thomas; two sisters, Mary Swartz and Faye (Merlin) Martin; three grandchildren, Ashley F. Hill, Jon P. Fillingim and Douglas W. Thomas; two great grandchildren, Trey Hill and Madi Hill and other relatives.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2012 starting at 2 PM with graveside services at 3 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
