Ruth Crowley Gordon

Mrs. Ruth Gordon, age 97, a former resident of Mobile, AL and currently residing in Lucedale, MS, passed away on February 1, 2022. Mrs. Gordon is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Dewey Gordon, daughter and son-in-law, Betty Lou and Francis De Laune, parents, Marion and Lizzie Jeffers Crowley, infant brother, brothers, Everett Crowley (Natomia), Cecil Crowley (Sarah) and sister, Celia Baggett ( Guy).

Mrs. Gordon had been a resident of Smith Manor Assisted Living in Lucedale, MS for 9 years. She enjoyed gardening, puzzle books, reading and coloring books. She was a member of West Chickasaw Baptist Church for many years.

Mrs. Gordon is survived by her loving son, Larry Gordon (Jody), five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her special niece Shari Keeton (Roger), other nieces, nephews, and many loving friends at Smith Manor Assisted Living.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL 36606, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel immediately following visitation. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland, AL.
