Ruth Prince Zivitz Lamensdorf – a resident of Mobile passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010. She was a member of Congregation Springhill Avenue Temple, retired owner of Buster’s Eagle Pawn Shop, and a beloved member of the community. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Isadore and Annie Prince; 6 sisters and brothers; husbands, Marvin Marx “Buster” Zivitz and Theodore “Ted” Lamensdorf; and son, Thomas Martin Zivitz. She is survived by her sons, Harrel A. Zivitz (Betty), Dr. Maury “Buzzy” Zivitz (Ellen), and Donald P. Zivitz (Leona); two brothers, Arthur Prince (Venetia) and Marvin Prince; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many dear cousins, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in Spring Hill Avenue Temple Cemetery on Sunday, September 12, 2010, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Spring Hill Avenue Temple, Little Sisters of the Poor, or the charity of your choice.
