Ruth Lorraine Langer Toljanic

Ruth Lorraine Langer Toljanic – A native of Chicago, a long time resident of Evergreen Park, Illinois, and a resident of Mobile, Alabama, since 2003, died Saturday, April 28, 2012. Mrs. Toljanic was a proud graduate of St. Xavier College in Chicago. She taught Elementary School for over 30 years in the Oak Lawn, Illinois area, and touched the lives of many students who still gratefully remember her. She was the loving wife of 55 years of John Joseph Toljanic, who died in May of 2006. Survivors include her children, Jack (Roseann) Toljanic of Evergreen Park, Illinois, Dr. Joseph (Mary Ann) Toljanic of Darien, Illinois and Janet Toljanic (Stephen) Russell of Mobile, Alabama; sister, Lillian Langer Hruska of Naperville, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Lucy Toljanic (Robert) Russell of Mesa, Arizona and Fern Petramale of Arlington Heights, Illinois; five grandchildren, John Toljanic, Emily Russell (Brandon) Beaird, Julie Toljanic, Amy Russell (John) Bedsole, and Jennifer (Michael) Chludzinski; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at which time the Rosary will be recited followed by the service at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, in Mobile, Alabama. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Evergreen Park, Illinois, on Monday, May 7, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2012, from 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kenny Brothers Funeral Home, 3600 West 95th Street, Evergreen Park, Illinios. Mrs. Toljanic will be buried next to her husband in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P. O.
