Sally Winston Haas McNeely was a life-long resident of Mobile, AL and was preceded in death by her parents, Winston O. Haas and Cecille Bolling Haas and her son, Robert S. McNeely, Jr., her brother, W. Ogden Haas, Jr. and his son, Scott Laird Haas died in 2013. Sally attended the University of Alabama and was a 50 year member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was a sustainer in the Junior League of Mobile and in several mystic organizations. She served as a Deacon in Spring Hill Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert S. McNeely, a daughter, Blake M. (Jerry) Chappell of Memphis, TN, a son, David O. (Jacqueline) McNeely of Mobile, AL, and five granddaughters, Sarah and Katherine Chappell, and Blakely, Sydney and Emily McNeely. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:00 am at Pine Crest Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Resurrection of Jesus Christ at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Spring Hill Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice. Arrangements under the direction of Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
