Samuel A. Robison, Jr., a native of Thomasville, AL and a longtime resident of Wilmer, died on Friday, March 8, 2013. He was retired from Ingall’s Shipbuilding. Mr. Robison was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Caughhorn, sister, Yvonne Faircloth and brother, Lamar Robison. He is survived by his wife, Nina Robison; four daughters, Glenda (Wayne) Welborn, Deborah(Butch)Fountain, Cathy(Reni) Ballard and Regina (Walley) Ivy; two step sons, Johnny (Sandra) Smith and Michael (Gloria) Smith; three sisters, Eva Mae Smith, Margie Pierce and Elizabeth (R.C.) Howell; two brothers, J.T. (Judy) Robison and Ray Robison, fourteen grandchildren,and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Tanner Williams United Methodist Church on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 12 noon. Mr. Robison will be taken to church at 11 AM. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 until 8 PM. Burial will be in the Joyner Cemetery
