Sandra Marie Reinhart Simmons

Mrs. Sandra Marie Reinhart Simmons, age 72, native of Mobile, AL, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, June 19, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Simmons, Jr. and parents Ferdinand Joseph and Annie Iris Haynes Reinhart. Mrs. Simmons retired as a Management Analyst for the Corps of Engineers after 40 years of service. She was a graduate of Bishop-Toolen High School and active as a volunteer for the Adoption Rocks and Volunteer Ambassador for Mobile Welcome Center. She was a longtime member of Little Flower Catholic Church and was a member of the Zonta Club International. Mrs. Simmons is survived by her children; Sandy Duffy (Bart), Julie Beall (John), Joey Simmons (Wendy) and Stephen Simmons. She also leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Frankie Reinhart Finch (Johnny), Rosie Reinhart Bishop (Bill) and grandchildren, Lindsay Duffy, Brooke Beall, Joseph Simmons, IV, (Loren), Bo Beall, Olivia Simmons, Lydia Duffy, Caleb Wheeler, Kyle Simmons, Stephen Simmons, Jr., Alexandria Simmons and great-grandchildren, Madison and Kaitlyn Todd. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Little Flower Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
