Scott Bradley Lingerfelt – age 40, of Axis, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He is survived by his wife, Amy (Parr) Lingerfelt, his son Christian Scott Lingerfelt, his step-daughter Jenna (Conyers) Perry, his grandmother Virginia McRae, his parents David and Reci Lingerfelt, his brother Allen Lingerfelt, and his two grandsons Colin and Tripp Perry. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Flossie Lingerfelt, his grandfather Raymond McRae, his uncle Andrew Lingerfelt and cousin Trey McRae. Scott graduated from Faith Academy and attended trade school to go on to a career as a pipe fitter at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. He was a member of the pipe welders Union. Scott was an avid paintballer and loved spending time with his wife. Services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Hemley Road Church of Christ in Bayou La Batre, AL at one in the afternoon with William Spaulding officiating.
