Shirley Marie Beggs Hayes

Mrs. Shirley Marie Beggs Hayes, age 73. A native and resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Friday, May 13, 2011. She attended Government Street Baptist Church, loved Mardi Gras, traveling, spending time with her family. She and her husband raised and showed Dalmatians for over 35 years. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Robert A. Hayes; daughter, Gwendolyn (Chris) Miller; adopted son, Christopher Rossi; brother, Charles “Chuck” Beggs; niece, Becky Bateman; nephews, Tom & David Bateman; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research thru the American Cancer Society.Arrangements under the direction of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
