Mrs. Shirley Veillon Nelson, age 85 native of Mobile, AL, passed away onThursday, February 26, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert E. and Laurine C. Veillon and sister, Doris V. McDonnell. She attended Little Flower School and McGill-Toolen High School. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband, Edgar Rae Nelson, brother, Robert A. Veillon (Betty) and her daughters, Stephanie Madan (Paul), Leslye “Laurie” Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson Wood (Gregory). She also leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Leigh, Chase, Matthew, Beau, Jessie and her great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery. A memorial visitation and service will be held on Sunday from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL. The family will host a reception at the family home following services.
