Mr. Weldy was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Green Weldy; his parents, Clifton and Ruby Weldy; and two brothers, Orville Weldy and Vernon Weldy.
He is survived by one daughter, Marian Weldy (Inge) Smith; two grandchildren, Inge Paul Smith and Amy Kathleen Smith; and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, September 3, 2011 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
