Susan A. Mastascusa Embry

SEPTEMBER 18, 1953 – MARCH 14, 2023

Another angel has left to be with the Lord.

Susan A. Mastascusa Embry, age 69, of Daphne, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Susan spent close to 30 yrs working with Evonik Degussa as Assistant to the President North America and as Coordinator of Special Events. She also spent many years working with Waterfront Rescue Mission feeding the homeless.

Susan is survived by her husband James Allen Embry, sons Seth Adam Dunne wife Rachel McMurray of Fairhope AL, Shawn Allen Dunne wife Rachel Tatley of Santa Rosa Beach Florida, stepson Jason Allen Embry wife Nacy Embry, Nephews Jason Friese of Rhode Island, Joseph Anthony Muro Il of Connecticut and niece Darcie Lynn Muro of Connecticut. Susan took pride in her grandchildren as well and has left behind 2 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. She was predeceased by her two sisters Claudia Friese and Janet Mastascusa Muro, and her parents Nicholas Dominick Mastascusa and Antoinette Romano Mastascusa. She will be missed by many family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held April 15, 2023 at Magnolia Springs Baptist Church, 6058 Theodore Dawes Rd, Theodore, AL at 11:00am to be followed by a Celebration of Life from 12:00-2:00.
