Sylvia Rubin Maisel – beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, an 85 year-old native of Fort Pierce, FL and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Milton Maisel, and daughter, Ida Maisel Peirce. She is survived by her sons, Gary Maisel (Marlena) and Nathan Maisel; grandchildren, Walter Maisel, Jeremy Maisel, Jessica Samet (Josh), and Marla Peirce; great-grandchildren, Laine, Olivia, and Owen; and sister, Libby Greenbaum (Albert).
Graveside services will be held in Congregation Ahavas Chesed Cemetery on Friday, November 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2800 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL 36607.
