Taylor was with us for 13 years because Jacob Balash gave her his heart when she was 2 ½ months old. Taylor loved life and all it had to offer. She loved going to school at Augusta Evans, loved spending summers at Camp Smile, and keeping up with her brothers.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sharon Martin. Survivors include her parents, Dr. and Mrs. David (Connie) Martin; two brothers, William and Trace Martin; grandparents, Edward Martin, Ron and Faye Deberry, and Ron and Donna Chamblee; great-grandparents, Othie and Ruth Chamblee; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be Sunday, October 2, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. in Rainbow Memorial Gardens in Gadsden, AL.
Special thanks go to the UAB Transplant unit and all of Taylor's physicians, nurses and pharmacists.
