He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Everette and Gladys Florence Bergdorf (née Skipper).
Mr. Nash attended McGill Institute for high school and served as an altar boy at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception during his childhood. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. He spent his adult life immersed in all things related to the history of Mobile. Imbued with the gift of being a natural storyteller, he enjoyed sharing his wealth of knowledge with others. Terry cherished his friends from childhood throughout his life. He had a strong passion for life, an un-quenchable intellect, enjoyed the outdoors, and was an ever-devoted fan of the Crimson Tide. His greatest love and joy was his family.
Mr. Nash was President and Owner of Title Assurance Company until his retirement. He was a member of a mystic society and other organizations in the Mobile community.
Mr. Nash is survived by his children Edward H. Nash of New York, Preston B. Nash (Monica) of Mobile, and Lauren B. Goode (Asa) of Gulf Shores and his former wife and mother of Preston and Lauren, Joy Nash.
A memorial visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
