

Mrs. Theresa Cink died at her home after a long illness, with her five sons at her side on February 7, 2018. She long dreamed of being embraced again, by her loving husband of 43 years, James Cink, Sr, who died in 2000. Theresa leaves to remember her as a loving mother, Fr. James Cink, Richard (Doris) Cink, Daniel Cink III, Christopher (Tammy) Cink and Eric (Sheree) Cink. Theresa has 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She has one surviving sister, Jane McEvoy Underwood and numerous other relatives.
Theresa was lucky to call as friends, Wayne and Ann Blanchard, Joe and Carol Machen and Georgia Weiskoff, who she loved and respected immensely.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband James Cink Sr., parents, James Hugh and Alice (Dahlgren) McEvoy, Patricia McEvoy Dumas, Mary McEvoy Dumas and James Hugh McEvoy.
Theresa was a devote Catholic who raised her family at Our Lady of Lourdes and later attended St. Vincent de Paul. She was a kind woman with a heart that had room for everyone. She was a seamstress and did fancy work with crochet and embroidery. Theresa was proud of all her children and grandchildren and loved to have her family around her table as often as possible.
The family of Theresa will hold visitation at Radney’s on Dauphin Street on Thursday, February 8 from 5-8 p.m. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church located at 4156 Burma Road.
In lieu of Flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Vincent De Paul Parish (6625 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama 36619) whose school suffered extensive damage due to a gas explosion.
