Thomas Woodward Beall

Following a heroic fight with cancer, Thomas Woodward Beall, Sr. has passed on to a more peaceful place on October 2, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Zelma Beall, his first wife, Mary Dempsey Beall and his grandson, John Martin (Bo) Beall, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Brown Beall, his beloved dog Belle, his children; Cathy (Dennis) Bendel ,Vickie Hutchins, Patti Langan (Ron White), Woodie, John (Julie) and Mary Ellen Beall; his grandchildren; Brooke Langan, Ryan Langan, Jennifer Langan (Blake) Rollo, Adam (Allison Reed) Langan, Jamie Langan (fiance, Cheryl Franks), Jonathan Langan, Heather (Justin) Rountree, Joshua, Ryan and Christian, Jonah and Jeremy Polansky, Brett and Blake Hutchins and seven great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by many friends from throughout his rich and fulfilling life. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, he became a true southerner as a graduate of Springhill College. Tom served the United States for 38 years in the US Army and US Air Force and retired as a Colonel from the US Air Force. In his dedication to his family he worked for and retired from Lockheed Martin, Beall Construction and as a Licensed Insurance Adjuster. He also enjoyed many frolicking years in multiple mystic societies. In his memory and in lieu of flowers, please honor the American Legion Honor Guard’s Post 250, St. Philip Neri or Catholic Charities. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017. The funeral mass will be held at St. Philip Neri in Theodore at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017.
