He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kay Woods; three children: Vincent Thomas Woods, Joseph Todd Woods, and Kristi Lynn Pate (Aaron); nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; along with extended family members and many wonderful friends.
Thomas and Sandra were together for fifty-nine years, Sanda will always be able to look back and think of all the great things they did and remember him as the love of her life. Thomas was a great man he may have been a little hard on everyone but it was always for a good reason his children and grandchildren wouldn't be where they are today without him pushing us through. Besides being a great husband and father he was also an amazing carpenter. He built many buildings such as the Boykin Towers, Eye Ear Nose and Throat Center, and three of the Phoenix hotels in Gulf Shores. Thomas even built most of their family home. We all loved Thomas very much and we know he loved us.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Camellia Missionary Baptist Church, 10661 Moffett Rd., Semmes, AL 36575. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Camellia Missionary Baptist Church, 10661 Moffett Rd., Semmes, AL 36575.
