On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, Timothy Coggeshall Landers, Jr, loving son and funcle (fun uncle), passed away at the age of 45. Tim was born on November 27, 1977 in Mt. Lebanon, PA to Timothy and Juanita (Porinchak) Landers. He received his degree from Auburn University of Montgomery in 2001 and began a successful career in the finance industry. His career was shortened by the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001 as Tim enlisted in the Army to defend our country and served a tour in Iraq. He was honorably discharged in 2007. Tim struggled mightily with the hidden injuries from his time in Iraq for the next 15 years.
Tim had a passion for his family and friends. He was kind, loving, and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He always put others first. He enjoyed cars, fishing, golf, the beach, mountain biking, radio controlled cars, and most importantly spending time with family and helping others.
Tim is survived by his parents Tim and Juanita, sisters Lenore and Emily, and brother Pete. He is loved and will be missed by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Semmes, AL at 9 AM. The funeral mass will follow at 10 AM with Monsignor Martin presiding. Burial will follow in the near future at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project as that is what Tim would have wanted. We also ask that you consider sharing what Tim meant to you with the family by sending an email to TimesWithTimJr AT gmail.com.
