Virie Viola Tarver Sheetz

Mrs. Virie “Vi” Sheetz – a native of Washington County, AL and a longtime resident of Wilmer, AL died Saturday, August 6, 2011 in a local hospital. Vi was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, always putting other’s needs before her own. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth E. Sheetz, Sr.; three children, Ada Sheetz (Peter) Miyares, Kenneth E. (Tina) Sheetz, Jr., and James Charles Sheetz; four brothers, Isaiah Tarver, Dan Tarver, Allen “Bo” Tarver, and Robert Tarver; three sisters, Dorothy Denham, Mildred Strickland, and Mary Allday; six grandchildren, Dallas Sheetz, Matthew Miyares, Ashley Miyares, Ashlynn Sheetz, Madison Sheetz, and Noah Sheetz; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Garden Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
