

Wayne was born in Henderson, Kentucky. He was the oldest of three children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Joe and Robert Williams and his younger sister Robin Williams. Wayne has one surviving brother Dennis Williams, residing in Tennessee.
Wayne left behind three adult children, three adult stepchildren and seven loving grandchildren.
Wayne moved to Mobile, Al to pursue a career in architecture and design. He later met and married the love of his life, Dolores Bray.
He achieved a second career in Special Education and became a Board Certified Behavioral Specialist.
At the time of his passing, he was employed at the Learning Tree in Mobile, Alabama. Wayne always loved a great joke. He had a deep contagious laugh, a smile that would just warm your heart.
Wayne was described as a very kind, loving and compassionate man.
He had a great love for history, cars, and old movies of the Wild West.
Dolores would like to express how grateful she is to the healthcare team that took such great care of Wayne over the past six months including Spring Hill Medical Hospital ICU staff, Dr. Timothy Kennedy and his staff, Dr. James Parker, as well as The Mitchell Cancer Institute including Dr Abdulla and his team.
We would like to give thanks to Dr. Sandra Parker and the entire staff at Altapointe in the Bayou for their support to the family during this trying time.
The prayers have meant so much to all.
There will be a mass held in Wayne’s honor at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, January 18, 2025 at 10 AM and a gathering to follow at the Church.
