William Francis Brokaw, 94, native of Chicago, Illinois and resident of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully at a local hospital on April 18, 2015 with family at his side. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, serving in WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents William F. Brokaw, Sr. and Florence Henninger Brokaw. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Gable Brokaw of 69 years, son William Randall Brokaw, daughter Linda Brokaw Lowe(Ron), grandchildren, Scott Lowe, Shelley Taylor, Matthew Brokaw, and great grandchildren, Allison & Bryant Lowe, Caleb Brokaw, Luke & Ashlyn Taylor. Visitation will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery West, Snow Rd., Mobile, AL.
