William Allen “Jack” Godwin - 92, of Mobile passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. Mr. Godwin was a veteran of WWII and retired from Teledyne Continental Motors. He and his deceased wife, Mary Godwin, were members of Cottage Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth A. Godwin of Mobile, Marshall Earl Godwin of King George, VA, and William R. Godwin of Marietta, GA; seven grandchildren, Kenneth Allen Godwin, Jr., Lisa Godwin Gonzales, Gregory Lee Godwin, Steve Earl Godwin, Benjamin David Godwin, Katherine Godwin Brink, and Megan Godwin Jackson; and seven great-grandchildren, Gloria Mae Gonzales, Maria Delmar Gonzales, Taylor Godwin, Lilly Godwin, Lexi Godwin, Godwin Lee Jackson, and William Hayes Jackson.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
