
He is survived by his dear friend, Pat Jackson; step-daughters, Sarah Parvardeh and Melissa Turbyfill; sisters, Barbara (Lynwood) Jones, and Sheryl (Brad) Swiger; nieces and nephews, Robbie LeBorde, Amanda (Matt) Zaden, and Stephen Burton.
He will be most remembered for his love of fishing, guitar playing, sense of humor and his house painting trade.
Born in Texas City, Texas and was a resident of Mobile for the past 31 years.
He was a house painter by trade, but has not worked in two to three years due to illness. He died with chronic obstructive lung disease.
He lived with his ex-wife, Pat, the last months of his life. They remained friends throughout their divorce.
He had a special bond with his loving care giver, Joyce Ball. She took care of him for seven months.
Brent got saved about a year ago and Joyce helped him strengthen his faith.
He was an accomplished guitar player and loved to fish.
He joined the U. S. Navy when he was 18 years old.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Lung Association or a charity of your choice.
The family would like to give special thanks to Joyce Ball, his faithful caregiver; and Dr. Almand Westbrook, Dana and the staff from Southern Care Hospice.
