Mrs. Willie Mae Weeks

Mrs. Willie Mae Weeks, age 97, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 . Mrs. Weeks is preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Drusilla (White) Burgess, husband of 66 years, L. J. Weeks, daughter, Betty J. (Weeks) Davis, son-in-law, Floman Davis, brothers, Marlin, Claude and Arthur A. Burgess and sister, Ethel (Burgess) Pate. Mrs. Weeks was a member of Oak Park Church of God and former longtime member of Forest Hill Church of God. Mrs. Weeks was a devoted and faithful Minister’s wife, serving beside her husband for over 35 years. She was dedicated to her Lord, family and church. She is survived by her children; Laura A. (Weeks) Rich (Coy), Mary Jo (Weeks) Bryars (Glenn), J. Randle Weeks (Hope), Larry W. Weeks, (Linda) and Ricky L. Weeks (Debra). She is also survived by her brother, John C. Burgess, 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Forest Hill Church of God from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Private family burial will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, AL.
