Willie Mae "Billye" Darring McLendon - Died peacefully at her residence in Homestead Village in Fairhope, Alabama on Monday, July 23, 2012. She was 97 years young. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert McLendon, and had a long and happy life. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Albert J. and Jamie Darring; and twenty-one nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
