Frank V. Traina

Frank V. Traina, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024. He is survived by his loving children: Kathy (Joey) Traina-McNeill, Frank Traina, Jennifer Traina-Miller, Marc (Alyssa) Thorpe, Joseph (Laura) Traina, Brad Traina, Bryan Traina and Carmella (Craig) Dugan; cherished grandchildren: Justin and Isaac Stoeffler, Taylor (Bill) Myers, Austin, Nicholas, Julia, Camron, Caelyn, Cyla, Vinny, Joseph Jr., Jackson, Mariah, Gwendolyn, Ella, Zaara, Addi, Chase, Ainsley and Mason; dear great grandchildren: Trustin, and Isabella Stoeffler, Lily and Charlotte Myers; siblings: Gerry Flowers and Joanne (Tom) Gulley.

Preceded in death by his parents: Vincent and Alma Traina and sisters: Beverly (Butch) Peach and Florence (George) Ferry.

Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy and as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a Master carpenter with a passion for model trains, Corvettes and his Family. Frank was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His sense of humor was one of a kind. Frank will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Skyline Funeral Home (24800 S. Governors Hwy., Monee, IL) with a Chapel Service beginning at 7:00 P.M. For information, please call 708-534-8256.
