James H. Hodgin, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth Hodgin; beloved children: Kathleen (Ned) Buddell and Greg (Christine) Hodgin; cherished grandchildren: Jacob (Brittany), Tyler (Huong), Matthew, Travis (Rhianna), Dana (Wade), Alyse and Luke; dear great grandchildren: Athena, Teddy, Holiday, Johnny and Dahlia; sisters: Doris Mappes and Vera McCluer; sister-in-law, Sharon Awe.
Preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Beatrice Hodgin; sister, Barbara (Michael) Merrill; mother and father in-law: Alma Louise and Albert Awe, brothers-in-law: Paul (Betty) Awe, Donald Awe, Robert McCluer and Martin Mappes.
James retired from Aon Insurance after 40+ years in the insurance industry. His passion in life was his horses and spending time with his family. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends are invited to visit with the Hodgin’s family on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of Committal Service at 12:00 P.M. at Skyline Funeral Home and Memorial Park (24800 S.
