Nancy M. Gomez

Nancy M. Gomez, age 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, August 23rd, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband Mauro Gomez Jr., her two sons Mario and Manuel Gomez, and her four beautiful grandchildren Maurea, Vanity, Gia, and Wynter Gomez, whom she loved dearly.

Nancy was born in Chicago Heights, IL on July 14th, 1963 to Pedro and Maria Ruiz. She met her faithful husband in 1980 and they married in May of 1987, spending 44 magical years together. Her eldest son Mario was welcomed in May of 1983, and her youngest son Manuel in March of 1992.

Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved to shop, bake, and serve others. You could find her on any given day spending time with her family, friends, or grandchildren. She loved to drive around with the windows down and her shades on, jamming out to her music! She was a devoted Christian who gave her entire life to Jesus. She was a loving and caring person who always thought of others before herself. To know her was to love her.

A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held at Skyline Funeral Home, 24800 S. Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, and a Chapel Services will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, 10:00 A.M., at Skyline Funeral Home.
